Suggestion:
I'm basically proposing to add 3 different boosters that can net the server potentially hundreds more in revenue each week, if not day.
Lottery Booster - Lower the lottery tax for an hour
Like the title says, this simply just lowers the lottery tax for an hour. Once a user donates for this, the lottery tax will be lowered and perhaps a little message after each lotto saying "Thanks to [USER]'s booster the lottery tax is X instead of X!". We could also perhaps increase the lottery tax without the booster to ensure the economy is stable with this booster implemented and to increase the incentive of buying the booster.
Feature Booster - Lower the cost of ECD-purchasable features for a certain time period
Yet again - like the title says, this will just lower the cost of purchasing features via ECD for a certain time period. Once a player donates for this, there will be an announcement of some sort, announcing the discount thanks to player X's booster. This has been implemented.
SG Booster - Increase SG winnings for an hour
This booster will increase SG winnings for an hour and whenever someone earns money from SG, there will be a message that says "Thanks to [USER]'s booster, you've received X% more winnings from SG!". We might as well decrease SG winnings to provide more incentive to buy the booster.
Reason:
ECC is becoming EULA compliant soon and simply put, ECC needs EULA compliant things that can make lots of money to ensure quality gameplay. These boosters can potentially make the server tens of dollars if not hundreds a day and even more monthly.

+1 Could help out with donations quite a bit, and would also be pretty fun.

This is a unique idea, but I feel like we'd just have these things active all the time, good for server revenue, but potentially damaging to gameplay. All of these things lead to either less money being taken out of the economy, or more money put in. I do think it's really cool though, -0.5 from me.

I do think this would be quite fun though, maybe they could only be available at certain times of the month to stop these things from potentially being in effect most of the time.

This isn't destructive to gameplay, but the server not being able to keep itself up due to the EULA is and this is what the suggestion is meant to prevent.

In fact, having boosters available only certain times a month will just imbalance the economy even more than having boosters be available all the time as you'll have an economic imbalance at those certain times as you can't adjust the booster to fit the economy at all times.

But is it really all about the money? Think about it, ECC would have easily made more than $100,000 USD in the time that it has been online. Obviously neither of us can give a definitive answer on this, but I feel as though ECC will be fine. Keep in mind people can still buy the cosmetic features such as pets, trails, stealth etc.
I don't want to make it seem like ECC can just keep on going without donations either, I'd just not want it to be these donations. -

How about add something like double drops of something for an hour, like perhaps coal or redstone? Or there could even be double xp drops, or as a completely different thing maybe we could introduce rentable private teamspeak channels that could be rented for like $15/month or something.
Also, in the case of people being able to just buy an infinite amount of these boosters, there could be a cooldown whether it be a day cooldown or 3 days or something.-

This sounds suspiciously like an idea I had... but an hour is too long.
You're forgetting though, ECC will also have another massive money sink. Sure, there might be some effects on the economy in the first few weeks but then we can simply tweak numbers to keep the economy stable.-

I like the idea of boosters, and a cool down of some sort so that they don't get overused. A cool down would also prevent someone from buying over someone else's booster (ex. I buy an SG booster and nicit tries to buy one 5 minutes after me). I don't know if it can be implemented, but I'm assuming something like that wouldn't be hard to set up.

I like the concept, but constantly raising sg pay outs, and lowering lotto tax and feature prices will result in inflation problems. As the boosters would likely be on most of the time -1

You can already set it so things can't overlap - look at spawn statues, you can't buy the one I've bought until mine expires.

For example, if Nicit first buys a lottery tax booster and then I do, Nicit's booster will be active and mine will be put on queue so it can be active after Nicit's booster hour ends.
You're forgetting two major aspects. The first one is that we're already going to be taking out much from the economy via the ECD feature sales and depressing the economy even more via killing the donation market. This alone should curb any possible fears/expectation of inflation.
The second one is that even if it does imbalance the economy, we're always able to tweak the boosters and SG rewards/lottery taxes/feature prices without the boosters to balance the economy.
Simply put, when it comes to boosters, inflation fears are irrational. -
