Minecraft Name: Legotom001 Suggestion: Add a forum compliment section Reason: You have a complains area showing how distrusted users are, why not have a area showing trusted users are? Any Other Information: n/a Link To This Plugin: n/a
I'm not sure if you understand the complaints section. The complaints forum is for users who are found disobeying the rules when something goes unnoticed. Why would anyone use a compliment section? What would use talk about? Seems pointless if you ask me. By the way, it's "compliment" not "complement". The two words have different meanings.
ik, but it still shows the distrust in a user. as for the miss spelling, sorry spell check. @staff could you replace the complement with compliment in the title, thank you in advance.
We have sticky threads on top of the trade section of the forums for leaving feedback. http://www.ecocitycraft.com/forum/threads/feedback-trading-ecodollars-for-server-features.20726/ (Donations) http://www.ecocitycraft.com/forum/threads/feedback-loans-and-lending.55969/ (Loans) You could also leave a note on someone's profile page.
I see it has been edited, but just to let you know, you can edit your original thread where it says 'Edit' near the bottom right of the original post.
What I mean about it is, you could go to a area on the forums where you could leave feed back on a persons trust worthiness on a trade. Ie player B buys a melon sword from player A, Player B could then go leave his//her opinion on the transaction, so if it was bad other players would know not to buy from player A.
We sort of have that with the Donations Feedback thread and the loans thread. I think someone has already linked them.
Changed this for you. I'm not convinced that this is necessarily needed as we have threads for this already, as others have mentioned. Also I fear that this would just be targeted by trolls if it became a more formal section.
ok thank you for the change. and after reading what you mean by trolls never thought of that, gess some one could make a alt and give them selves lost of good feed back.
Yeah, and lets say PersonA buys 1 potato to PersonB and then left a thread saying how smoothly the transaction went, and how trustworthy the other person was. Technically, they have done nothing wrong and are correct in what they're saying, yet it is clearly a troll and not useful in anyway. If we were to prevent that from being allowed, we would have to start drawing a line as to what is an acceptable value of transaction and what isn't etc. I've always been of the opinion that the number of ban appeals/complaints a user has against them is the best form of evidence. No one really knows the full story behind comments giving praise. You don't know if its just friends teaming up to get a good reputation or similar.
