Reason: This would allow many users to access things such as farms via the market as well as allowing faster travel for users without teleport. Any Other Information: I believe that this would be a great addition to ECC. But I also believe that a donation feature should need to be purchased for this to be possible. [Either adding to an exsisting one or creating a new one]. Since warps are already able to be purchased for $40,000 ECD for users with fly I think that a similar donation should be possible allowing users to place warp signs so that users without teleport can use signs to warp. -1 All of the uses for a spawn portal will be completly gone if i can just get someone to place a warp sign in my town.
I'd be in favor of this being a server application feature, this way we could remove money out of the economy. It isn't really needed as a feature, as it does nothing more than bypass the necessity of other features (namely teleport).
I agree with Nicit. I would be in favor of it being a server feature, however, I also agree that it is essentially what a town portal is. You would be making portals useless... So, unless you make them the same cost, it seems a little silly to have both.
@Revanrose6 you can havw more than one town portal? Maybe i want to make a warp sign to the public swimmin pool and then a sign to the farm ect. See what.i mean?
I suggested a feature because it might be something someone might want to invest in. Paying a lot to get said feature and then saving the money in the long run. It could be an application but I think it would be considered too expensive by many.
Hmm... Maybe the signs can only warp you a location within a specific radius? So they can only be used to warp to other in-town locations? Ext-creations++ maybe?
They can be, but they serve the purpose correctly. I'm currently working on a town transport system that needs around 46 town-to-town portals between 6 towns.
My suggestion is to be able to buy something more costly than one portal that may save you money depending on how many you use in the future. Numerous portals become very costly..
I agree with If you can get enough money to get the feature, you can get 25k (I believe) for a town-to-town portal.
Other than the fact that portals are slightly bulky, I don't see the point in adding another feature that does the same thing as one we have already. If you want the pricing to be different, I would post a suggestion on changing the pricing for town to town portals.
