Suggestion: Change SG to how it was around this time last year($200 a kill in a kit game, $300 in a kit free)

Reason: It makes SG more competitive and will therefore get more people into the games

Any Other Information: Give me feedback!

I think that giving more money is good for the economy because it makes more people spend money on stuff and they play sg more +1

Yes please, or make it double earnings like last year around Christmas time, SG became very popular and to be honest, it's totally dead right now, we need more people playing SG!

Great idea, but people who sg farm (you know who you are) will be making more profit.

@TURTTTTTTTTTTTTT SG Farmers are decently uncommon, easily found out, and could be subject to higher penalties should this suggestion be passed. I don't believe this to be a realistic concern, and one that is heavily outweighed by the benefit of a more populated SG (which too would further prevent empty arenas where farming often takes place)

+1, but it might rek the economy. Last year when we had double earnings I remember making 50k an hour at times. Then again, SG barely has anyone in it now you realistically you can only make 15k-25k/hour max.

More people will also play if SG money goes up, so you can't really use the number of people playing now for an estimate.

Statistically, I believe that at this point in time we could use a few more sources of EcoDollars going into the economy given the varying amounts of inflation we've seen across the board this past year. Right now we have seen virtually all items within the market except star tools, tools, ores, and netherstars receive enormous drops in demand as a result of money either becoming more scarce or difficult to obtain. No longer can we simply sell many items bought or found within the star shop, almost any of the basic blocks or other entities, and virtually every sellable item has taken an enormous decrease within demand inside our market. Most of all is the town industry, which has almost crashed in the past year in being a worthwhile enterprise. Towns with gates essentially worth 150k in the amount put into them were often sold for less than 50k, and upkeeping farm or residential districts now no longer prove to be worth the investment given the resale, perms or plot value. Overall, I would be interested to see how our server would benefit from an increase in SG rewards, and should this be detrimental, it is nothing we cannot change back.

Again, this is all just healthy speculation, as I would love to see another economic boom like we saw during the same time last year when SG amounts were raised.

I doubt that this suggestion will see an increase in players.
Non kit players (the ones who don't play sg) won't be encouraged to play more if they get more per kill in kit games. Because 0 kills * 200 is the same as o kills * 150. It's $0.
Raising the money for non kit games maybe increases the number by a small amount but I doubt even that cause the reason people don't play sg is because they can't win not because they aren't making good money

You're completely ignoring the part where ECC lost 2/3 of its players and how almost no newer players are sticking around. (yes, there are still newer players sticking around, but considerably less than 1.5-2 years ago)
That's why the "town industry" died.

Because everyone and their mothers already have star tools. It's a saturated market. And adding more money to the economy isn't going to fix that.
Not to mention the graveyard that is the player market.

    Anyway, I'm going off-topic.

SG isn't a miracle plugin. It won't have any profound effects on the economy. It will just make more people play SG. Best scenario we'll an extra arena being filled up during peak times.

On point. It will increase the amount of kitters that play, though.

I understand your point, though I disagree, as you use server population as the basis of your argument: not relative demand or market trends when it comes to the death of the player market. I believe population is irrelevant when talking about how much relative demand is within an economy, in the same way that everyone already owning star tools (which really isn't the case) really has nothing to do with the fact that almost all other items are not selling. A lot of this is basic economics and the domino effect of changing something as central to the economy's income as SG. Moreover, the only thing server population has to do with towns are when it comes to more residents, and even then it does not account for the incredible drop in sell value. Moreover, you seem to focus on star tools (which is really one of ECC's only thriving markets besides gambling), where virtually all other areas have since receded. As seen at this time last year, raising SG rewards has far more reaching in terms of affecting server population than you realize, and may do much in part to bring more people to server.

I strongly agree with what you say about the effects of increasing SG rewards. I believe that the only reason why people would somewhat disagree that raising rewards will have an impact on the market is because of kits. I have seen some of the craziest, biased, untrue statements made about kits from every side. All of us agree that kits have created a problem, however what people don't understand is kits are not the root of all the problems. It seems nowadays that everything is blamed on kits. Economy problems, player count, and overall user satisfactory problems are said by people to be caused by kits, which is just so untrue. Can we please get off the mindset of how disgusting and terrible kits are and actually do something? We can argue how good and bad kits are ALL DAY. And we have. But what good has it done? All I see is a dwindling user base and unhappy players. Im sure you will have something to say about this kuke, so let me ask this. Do you believe that this suggestion should be implemented? Why or why not?

Anyway, as I stated a few posts back I have a huge +1 for this.
