Minecraft Name: imSwag__ Suggestion: Allow sales of Enchanted items through trade signs Reason: It's really inconvenient to manually sell tools/armor. With this, it will be easier to purchase enchanted items. Any Other Information: I don't know how this can be implemented , or if this is even possible
Don't think this is even possible. Even if it was, -1. How would you know what enchants the tool had? The trade sign would still read: 1 dsword:1 EDIT: 1,000 Posts
I believe you have to type in a specific code for the tool, then. I believe /iteminfo would work, but we don't have the command.
Exactly. Quote from a Help/Support thread about spawner eggs: That is the reason why trade signs don't accept named items or items with lore - if the trade sign accepted items with NBT tags, it would return a tool completely stripped of lore, name and enchantments. The only options would be a major change to Essentials, which I don't really see as effective in any way, or a new trade sign plugin that would either coexist or replace the old one - this might be a little easier, but I am not sure how viable this solution is.
Trade signs suck. They only support whatever fits on a sign. (which means they don't even support UUID!)
If we're getting a new plugin, I'd like to suggest chestshops. You can sell any item, enchanted, or named, except for exp. It might work better than trade signs.
