Time and work... Like cooking pots or Eff7's? Minecraft is anything but a realistic simulation, what's wrong with a little convenience?

 

Didn't say anything was wrong with a little convenience, just saying I personally feel it's taking too much of the "experience" out of minecraft. I mean really, how hard is it to place a little gravel to clear some lava? :p But this is just me, I understand some people may feel differently on this topic.

 

No, I get it... I don't have an issue with clearing how I have been, just that it would be nice to have this.

 

Red sand = no fall
Red sand = clear lava(water equivalent of sponge)

I say add this, but add it like sponges for water
In water, sponges clear only water (obviously)
This suggestion should add it so only people with pyro can clear lava, and /kit pyro should come with a sponge.
But people with only pyro can't clear water.
It's only fair.
If you have both you can clear both.
This is coming from a person without pyro (sadly)

 

Not locked into one position, it clears both without configuration as long as you have water + pyro

That I don't agree with because you need water in order to place spongers, therefore it won't work...

People who doesn't have pyro will use water sponges and get rid of the lava? If this could be implemented where special sponges are given from /kit pyro +1 to your idea and this idea
