Hacking is a big issue on ECC - It's unfair to other users, and in some forms of hacking (PvP hacking) it actually ruins the gameplay of others.
Our current anti-cheat plugin may notify staff members is the plugin thinks they're hacking, but makes no effort to actually block the hacking.
Now, I present to you, a plugin that can actually not just notify staff but block it too - AntiAura (https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/antiaura-hack-blocker-1-7-1-8-compatible.1368/). AntiAura isn't just a plugin that actively notifies staff if a hacker is suspected and such, it actually blocks the hacks and kicks/bans the user based on config.
Here's the list of blocked hacks and a trailer of the plugin.
PVP Hacks:
Forcefield/Killaura.
AutoClicker/FastClick.
ForcefieldLegit/KillauraLegit.
Aimbot/ClickAimbot.
AntiKnockback/Unpushable.
AutoBow/FastBow.
Criticals.
TriggerBot - Can be bypassed by advanced clients.
AutoSoup.
Regen.
Reach.
Tracers/Minimaps/ESP.
Anti-Blind (Entities only. Players can still see blocks).
NoPotion.
PotionSaver.
AntiFire.
Movement hacks:
Flight.
Glide.
Speed (yes, this is compatible with the /speed command and speed potions).
Step.
HighJump.
Spider.
NoFall.
Blink.
NoClip (up).
Derp, partially.
Timer.
FastLadder.
Jesus.
Sneak.
Phase.
Freecam (Entities only. Players can still see blocks).
Block hacks:
GhostHand.
FastBreak.
Nuker.
FastPlace.
I don't block X-Ray, because you can already block it with Spigot. Click here to learn how!
Misc:
NoSwing (Blocks all sorts of hacks from Forcefield to Nuker)
Basic protection from Spambots.
This blocks most major forms of hacks (Fastbreaking, Forcefields/Kill Aura, Aimbot, Tracers, ESP, Minimaps and more.)
Anyway, this plugin blocks hacks and will improve the gameplay for others, something that we should and must do for the well being of ECC.

I think this would be a great plugin to add because hacking just makes sg unfair for a lot of players me included and it is no fun when you have a hacker as long as this does not add to the lag then I think this would be a great pluggin

I can confirm that this plugin does not result in false bans unless in very extreme laggy edge cases. Which are incredibly rare.
And I really doubt 1250 people would buy a $5 plugin if it were laggy or bad. lol-

This. Honestly with experience from many PvP servers, the plugins sometimes bans or kicks falsely.

The greatest anti-cheat I have seen was on a server I spent two years playing. The idea they implemented which worked EXTREMELY well was silverfish.
During combat the server would occasionally spawn 4 silverfish around the feet of the player and any use of FF would be caught due to the fact that using it would cause the player to attack multiple silverfish at once (because thats what forcefield does) and it works well. -

The current plugin we have, NoCheatPlus, gets a lot more false positives than AntiAura. By default, both plugins ban after a while. And both plugins also have the ability to turn off kicks or bans. (although I've seen AntiAura with kicks and never had a problem with it, even with 300ms ping)
At least AntiAura doesn't make you freeze up and unable to move for a good minute sometimes.-

It is impossible to detect esp as it does not communicate in any way with the server. Same with minimap, esp, etc. They're all things that run on currently rendered entities. Freecam is impossible to detect for the Same reason.
All movement hacks for obvious reasons would be easy to detect, along with ones that allow you break blocks/but people you are not facing.
Click aimbot/trigger bot is hard because it's difficult to distinguish between legitimate swings that are times right and illegal ones.

ESP and Tracers can be blocked (or rather, severely limited) by not rendering anything hidden behind objects. Entities you literally cannot see in any situation. AntiAura does this. NoCheatPlus does not.
Click aimbot and trigger bot are actually (partially) blocked due to the way it utilizes NPCs when you hit people. (this also slightly messes with tracers, but not enough to matter). These (not visible in any way by anyone else) NPCs trigger the aimbot/forcefield/aura. The only way this can generate false positives is when you deliberately go out of your way to try and hit them
However, some good trigger/aimbots are undetectable as they perfectly mimic a player's behaviour. Nothing any plugin can do about that.
Basically AntiAura blocks more thoroughly than nocheatplus.-
