Minecraft Name:
SuburbSomeone
Suggestion:
That application processing times should be stated as no more than 5 days (with an exception for medals)
Reason:
Given how active admins are on the forums, applications almost never take more than a day. An extra day is fair, but after that it's a bit unreasonable to request that users whose applications were forgotten to wait any longer - unless an unforeseen event happens, in which case there should be three more days given. I'd like to see users who ask for admins to look at applications to be more harshly punished too, but that's another conversation.
Any Other Information:
Medals, which require server admins, will take up to a week. The processing time should still be 1-7 days there. The higher ranks should remain five days, but it should be noted that the medal may take another week to be added within the application.

Nope!

I can agree with this for builders anyhow. 7 days is too long to wait for being able to get a shop and have more lwcs. But resident and above I think should be left as or only cut a bit like to 5 because they incudle xyz and adding.a town.
The mods do usually get those done just as fast but it wouldnt be too hard for unforseen circumstances to put the hardest working and most unappreciated mods from having to put a lot more time in shoving them through before the deadline or users getting mad if they didnt.
it would be fantastic for builders though.-

Sorry Sub, but I'll have to agree with @oootopia. Remember last year when ECC was down for 2 or 3 days? The majority of applications are required to be done in-game. Simply keep it how it is for now.
The GA team already do a fantastic job in doing the majority of applications within 24 hours. No need to put extra stress on them.-

I think it's better to leave it as - is, to account for any possible unexpected issues, and keep the processing time disclaimer the same for everything. Not only that, but I think 7 has a side effect of making people quite cheery when they see an application was done sooner than expected.

Just leave it as 7 days. GAs will get to applications when they do.

-1 keep it as it is.
GA team does a good job as it is.
No need to add extra pressure on them by making it 2 days. 7 days gives them a bit of time to do them properly, then they don't feel rushed.-

I get what you're saying, but they're *DOING* it in two days anyway.... though given all the uncertainties that can happen, I also concur that it's best to keep it between 5-7. Going to change the suggestion to 5 days. -

7 is fine lol. 7 days gives GA's exactly a week to do it. A week is a nice amount of time. I honestly dont think this needs to change.-
