Minecraft Name:Origamimaster10 Suggestion:Add a donation feature where you could use something like /backpack and it gives you access to your "second inventory". Kind of like an enderchest by doing /eec. This could be like multihome- You can buy more backpack space, maybe $15/pack? First time you bought it you would get an area equivalent to a small chest. Each time you buy it, you would get more room. You could do something like /Backpack 2,3,4,5,ETC. I think this would be really useful for people who love to build, so you don't have to constantly go back to your pile of chests to get materials. Reason: It would make building/carrying items for mining, farming, building, etc and it would be a great donation feature. Any Other Information: I was thinking this would have to be coded. I looked this up on bukkit, but there are only pre-releases. Link To This Plugin: N/a. I will keep looking. I am going to a summer camp that will teach me how to code, so if I am good enough, I may be able to create it. But lets see.
There's definitely a plug-in out there, and this would be really useful! But, I'd have to say bump the price to $20 USD instead of 15, slightly because I feel like the idea of carrying 27 stacks of extra inv. space is a bit too useful for $15. And I'm sure that the original plug-in gives 18 slots, not 27. But I may be referring to a mod in hexxitcraft. +505!
Well, im not too sure of the details as of right now, just the idea of having extra space. Of course the price would be up to andrew, if this is accepted.
This is already covered to an extent by /enderchest under ExtCmds. Whilst I can see why this may be useful to an extent, through multihome, /back and enderchest, I personally would have no need for backpack. I could set a home at chests and then /back to where I was building nearly just as quickly. Between a full invent and enderchest, I've also never needed more space on me. Just my thoughts though, sure others may have a stronger need/want for it.
I have seen this idea get rejected many times. While I do agree, it would be great, /eec has a similar function. This can be obtained through Ext Commands.
I would love to have more inventory space for a couple reasons. One, I tend to buy/move large quantities of stuff and it would be nice to reduce the number of back and forth trips to unload things. Granted, my time savings would be dependent on how much my inventory was increased. I recently had to move 150k stone blocks....that was a lot of trips. Also, it would allow me to stay longer on mining trips before my inventory got full. Again, it mainly boils down to reduced trips to unload, which over enough time would pay dividends in time savings.
