Suggestion: put a ban ticker on the forums.
Reason: would help prevent rule breaking.
i think a ban ticker would help show that the rules are actually inforced. it doesnt have to say name. it just says for what offence. obviously it will change as people appeal. this woundnt negatively effect any specific users due to the lack of names. but it will show that rules are taken seriously. ive done my share of user complaints on the forum/read through enough to see, that rules are fairly enforced, with an excess of "user warned ingame". people get multiple warnings before serious action is taken. due to the lax enforcement seen on the "user" side of the forums.
now i am not saying that there isnt rule inforcement. im saying on a non-mod+ user side of things there isnt enough shown for us to notice. kinda like cops do their job even when you dont see the squad car up and down your street daily. but you will feel safer if you see them pass so often.
example of how it may look.

My primary issue with this is, this isn't information that the community needs to know, nor that we should show off. Having a ticker like that seems, rather, well, authoritarian. A bit like "Here's everyone gone, you might be next".
You shouldn't need proof the staff are doing their jobs, the fact that they're staff is proof enough. This means you just want to see staff doing jobs, which is rather, well, counterproductive. In my eyes, you shouldn't notice staff doing their job; the very fact you don't notice anything wrong means that staff are doing their job. If you want to see staff work being done, you can thumb through the many pages of ban appeals, complaints, and grief reports.
Then there's the updating side of this, sure for complaint and grief report based issues, but anything handled in game means staff would have to stop what's being worked on and go update the ticker for every ban -- in the process possibly missing the next offense.-

I can only say that i strongly agree with nicit6. I think that so much work isn't worth. A user gets banned and that user apply and it is accepted a staff member would be wasting his time on updating that counter. And I don't really belive that their job isn't noticed as nicit6 said

Moreso though, I hold, this isn't something that needs to be public knowledge. -

If you want to see this type of stuff, just look at all the ban appeals and User complaints. (although, I assume you already do)
