same can be said about skyblock.

 

Bedwars is fun, but with our current player traffic, it would be a waste of staff’s time rn.

 

Let’s see how skyblock does first before we actually assume a new “game” would increase traffic. All I know is bedwars is better with at least 8 players. That’s roughly a fourth of our peak traffic for weekdays and about a fifth or a sixth of our peak weekend traffic

 

Unless you are stating 2v2 matches, this is still not good as traditionally it’s 4 teams. With four player arenas, that would make it 1v1v1v1, which would be terrible. Each team needs at least 2 players per team for it to be remotely fun (as one would usually be the “attacker” and the other the “defender”)

 

Nah, this seems too, I dunno, but ECC doesn't seem like that kinda server yet, we're just getting skyblock. We definitly cant have a huge multi-game server with 50 peak players...

 

Not just 50 peak (because we have basically that for weekends), but 50 during non peak hours.

 

Just no. What is the point of stealing a Hyp**** original mingame. Just no. Its mainstream minigame and too common. Would invite 8 year olds to the server who will then come to the main server who will then grief and get banned and not give a damn. Plus, Skyblock is staffs main priority right now.
(Thing is with skyblock, I could have had it done within 2 months, not 5 months lol. Plus I could have easily done VMR in less than a week, not 2 weeks, coz it only uses 2 commands from the Essentials plugin and a little bit of worth.yml configuration... just shows how the staff making these minigames need to start living up to their expectations imo, and adding bedwars would just take 4 months compared to a month for me or someone else)

 

I literally do not understand this. If its too common, then why is skyblock being worked on and about to be implemented? Its the same thing. Whats wrong with 8 year olds anyway, if they come on the server to play, chances are their parents will buy them features and donate, thats how my younger brother gets features on all these mini-games servers. Furthermore, I doubt if we had mini-games 8 year olds would be interested in setting up a town, ranking up, getting involved in the economy. The majority, I would say, probably dont even understand how to play the economy.

On a side note, if ECC isn't a mini-games server, isn't that the whole point in this Hub thats been worked on for months and months - to add new gamemodes and minigames?

 

To add new *gamemodes* not new minigames. BedWars is a minigame. Skyblock is a gamemode.
And about the 8 yr old thing - u said exactly what i meant. They wont be interested in the economy so they'll just grief n go.

 

How can they grief? Land is protected.
