I have been wako lately about how the ground of my towns look. They look dirty ;-;

 

They did this for a month or so a few years ago. Not sure if it worked well or not though.

Biome change or town regen for 100k. By the time I had anywhere near enough money the option was gone :(

Before someone says something about lag, I'll just say this: Biome changes do not cause any lag. While yes, many WE commands do cause lag, biome changes will not and do not cause lag.

Anyway, I see literally no reason not to do this, as players seem to like it and this will provide another money dump that takes money out of the economy.

This seemed to me a very odd suggestion at first, but the aesthetic reason behind it makes total sense and, hey, it's another way to remove money from the economy!

Unless I am mistaken, biomes are not changed because of possible chunk corruption when doing so.

 

I can confirm.. that it is nonsense. That guy has no idea what he's talking about. The reason it wasn't done is because it's worldedit and the only person with those permissions is andrew. Simple as that.

 

In that case, maybe world edit biome changes could actually be a feat costing usd. Id probably 12 usd on it if i had any call for it whatsoever.

 

I think that might be stretching it a little far. A large sum of in-game money would be a better option in my opinion.

 

I agree, but since Andrew is the one person who has to do them ALL I really think hed be more agreeable to the hastle for a bit of cash. And remember of course it is no different from a large sum of ecd because those without access to cash pay large sums of ecd in exchange for others to but it for them. So you could spend the 12 usd or just buy the feat from another player for like only 60 k wnd either way andrew walks away with something. I think it would be a huge pain if it were even easier to do than that.

 

It is possible for something to be custom coded to change the biome of a whole town with a simple command, just like how GAs make towns and such. But that would need @JamieSinn to do stuff. And I'm sure he's busy with Skyblock.
