Minecraft Name: Nicit6 Suggestion: Add iron sword to kit vsg Reason: Give people who have supported the server, but just not with kits specifically, a chance. The major kits give an advantage over an iron sword (cc's fire/miq's sheer power) and anybody without kits wouldn't be able to use buffer anyway. However it will make people at least think they have a chance. Any Other Information: Maybe more people will be addicted to SG and buy kits... or maybe more people will be content. Or maybe... who knows. Link To This Plugin/Is this a custom addition?: We already have the plugins needed.
I'd prefer that it would give something like a stone sword or an iron axe, because iron swords are nonetheless hard to get... Either way though, I like this idea. +1
What about the non-donators who see donators at the beginning with Iron Swords, and they have to go find their own iron swords from a chest? Not a very good first sight for SG.
Non-donors are already going to see people with full kits getting enchanted stuff, that's certain. This honestly isn't going to make their experience much worse than it already is.
I like the idea but I feel like getting an iron sword is a little op, how about wood sword + full leather? Nevertheless +.05
Maybe like two diamonds? This may give donators W/O sg kits more of chance since all they need to find is a stick and it wouldn't be overpowered compared to other kits.
Basically these, though I wouldn't go for full leather (or the iron axe, for that matter). VSG should give donators a little more of an advantage than it does currently, but it should not be an iron sword. Maybe, not even a stone.
To address a number of responses quickly (@ChargerBoltz5 @xX3PICREBELXx @a18greek18 @SuburbSomeone): An iron sword isn't strong at all compared to most kits and is meant to actually give people a bit of a fighting chance. A rarer item for chance of hope. Get more people thinking they have a chance, even if it involves actually giving them one. Adding anything weaker pretty much just makes the suggestion pointless.
That makes sense, but I do feel that when it's just people with VSG against non-VSG users that that would be too OP. Maybe we should make stone swords, cobble, and iron ingots more common in chests?
But would it not be better to give them a weapon and armor instead of just giving them a strong weapon?
