    Just so you all know... you can edit your texture pack so that a cheap block you dont use or see often (like mycellium) looks like a cactus. Problem solved.

    But what if I want to build a desert house for somebody and use cactus, then the other person has to use the special edited texture pack too. Or, what if I want to make my town desert-themed. Everybody who comes to it would see (block that looks like cactus) everywhere and think I'm crazy :p
