so i have found it really hard to try and create a trade sign as well as read them i can't even tell wether its saying selling or buying and its really hard when you need to get stuff and the best way is from player markets. my suggestion change the trade signs I've seen on plenty of servers the simple thing on signs ( name ) ( amount ) ( S for selling then B for buying then price ) EX S 500 ( item ) its so much easier and it is very easy to read i think a lot of builders/newcomers would be very happy with this change and would make my experience so much better thank you for taking your time to read this. - bogeyed58075

Those are developers. I agree that trade signs aren't easily readable, though. And far from intuitive.
Those are for ChestShop signs, and we definitely don't want to be using that -1 they can be confusing but changing them would screw up every spawn shop and other shop out there Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
kuku i totally agree with you, but if they can't change them make them a bit easier to read and monchy as i said in my thread i wasn't trying to make trade signs my main focus was on trying to read them its random to me it could be a waste of my money by buying something i wanted to sell or selling something i wanted to buy its so confusing. as on other servers it uses the chest shops which r so much easier to use its unbelievable
2nd line is what goes in the sign, 3rd line is what goes out. It's not that difficult. Moreover, with the current format you can trade items for items without money. For instance, in my shop I fill your bucket with lava for free with the following trade sign: [Trade] 1 bucket 1 lavabucket Which means: 1 (empty) bucket goes in the sign (being taken out of your inventory), 1 lava bucket goes out of the sign (being added to your inventory) TL;DR: -1
