Minecraft Name: knears2000 Suggestion: To add some sort of rule that applies to cheating whether it be considered an exploit or added to the unfair play area. Reason: It's not on the wiki and it should. I know this is somewhat of a common sense but, I believe that it should be there to just reinforce the rule and to have a basis for the staff team to ban players that cheat. Any Other Information: Nope Link To This Plugin: Wiki
This is more of hacking and exploits, there is really no place of "cheating" in there. I mean by legitimately cheating in competitions and such.
If its a competition then the host of the event should be watching for cheating and bar offenders. If it is the case of a suspected hacked client or something along those lines, pass it on to the staff.
If it is a minor competition, then the individual player should handle the case by disqualifying the player in question. If it is major, that is the staff's decision to decide how to handle it on a case-by-case basis. I think cheating falls under "common sense." If such a clause were added, it would not significantly change the way staff currently handle complaints about cheating, since it is not as common. So, since there is not really any major reason why such a clause should be added, I am -1 on this.
Oh, in that case, -1 Cheating in player made competitions can be handled by players, cheating in server competitions can be handled by Andrew, so a rule would not need to be implemented.
I think I worded this incorrectly. I'm trying to say that just "cheating" isn't within the wiki. Mainly hacking/exploiting things. There should be a place for "cheating" in general, then those be sub areas.
