I enjoy this idea, but I dislike it. We need votes, yes, but we need money out of the economy. Maybe if you get 5 coins that would work better? If not, -1.

 

I would make the prizes a higher cost. It is a Hardcore Economy server after all, it should take much longer than 1 week of voting for resident

I'm not sure I like the idea of yet another currency. This sounds like nstar redux. You get nstars from voting and can cash them in to get ranks now by selling them. Not sure what coins would do for incentive that current voting perks don't.

While I am a fan of the concept behind this suggestion, I would struggle to add another currency to the economy (as @Emau stated). There are already decent rewards from voting and the coins seem a little overkill. In addition, I'm not sure how the voting sites would know whether the user was Builder - Mayor or not. You would then have Mayors+ getting coins and then selling them to other users which would likely mess up a good part of the economy.

 

I'm not gonna +1 or - 1. I don't like to "-1" something because you are shutting someone's ideas down. I personally don't think it'd work because it would be to confusing.

 

-5 in a way this idea is just asking for 2 nstars per vote. with 1 month of voting you can purchase most beginning ranks with the nstars gained. the concept is already there, builders/res dont go for it though. adding an additional prize for voting wont make more people vote, we already have prizes for voting. extra nstars, diamonds, horse eggs, etc. it will just over inflate the economy. it takes 1 week to get 35 nstars. at 5nstars per day. thats 35x450ecd[generalzed going price]=15750ECD. voting alone can get you res in 1 week. 1 month of voting alone gets you 67k towards mayor. voting does not need a buff in any way shape or form.
