There are people who fastbreak, I think we should ban farming. Do you see the logic in that?
Anyone who's caught using an autoclicker to farm mobs will be banned.

True. However, its a LOT easier to catch a user fast breaking, than using an autoclick. Fastbreak can be noticed not only by staff but the players and be reported. With an autoclicker at a spawner, it is difficult for anyone to notice.
Edit: Melon Swords are not common to the regular ECC player, only a select amount of users own a sword. Spawners are freely open to ANYONE at anytime for a cheap cost.-

It seems like staff has ways of detecting illegal activity. It also seems like they keep their enforcement methods secret, so that people are discouraged from trying to get away with rule breaking.
We all have to keep in mind that staff is just trying to keep things fair. I for one am glad they are around keeping an eye on things.-

I don't agree with this suggestion at all. The changes made to EXP are perfect and make for a healthy, dynamic economy again.
The way things were before:
-Mining was one of the best ways to make money and a lot of people were doing it.
-The price of all mining goods was pushed down to the server price or $1 above server price.
-The price of EXP was being pushed down towards $0!
-Consequently, the price of enchanted books and items was falling. EFF 5 tools were below 5K.
It is unhealthy for EXP and max enchanted items to be so cheap. A hardcore economy server should have things that you have to EARN. You could practically buy and EFF5 tool just by voting 6 times. It is a better playing experience if users have to work their way up, slowly upgrading their tools/armor/etc so they can be more efficient at each step of the way. The way things were going, we would end up handing out max tools sets to people on their first day on the server.
With this change, mining will become less popular with the following results thrown in:
-Price of EXP will rise.
-Price of mined goods will rise. Emeralds, diamonds, gold and quartz in particular.
-Price of books and enchanted items will rise. The market for non-max tools will become relevant again with the increased ceiling on prices.
-Mining world will need less resets.
-More player-to-player economic interaction due to prices rising above server price.-

I feel very neutral on the situation. But, as I try my best, Andrew said something along the lines of this: "I will never disable mob Exp,".

Here are my points since I got that aside.
Mining: easy to get exp, but you actually have to do something, move around.
Spawner: Takes time, although you don't have to do much.

I won't be giving out a lot of details, however, it is EXACTLY the same to find someone Auto-clicking as it is to find someone fast-breaking. Staffs chat will be spammed like crazy with NC++ or any other coded by devs of ECC plugin by un-usual or most known as 'weird' events. Such like clicking way to fast(or for a long period of time constantly non-stopping), or breaking melons faster than normal.
If I was to click as fast as I can I'd probably be banned for spamming GA's logs :3 -
I don't believe staff logs show if a user is using fast break on 'melons'. If this was so, I wouldn't have to ask staff members to tpa to me and confront the victim, staff members would automatically tp to this user.
Also, I know for sure that staff logs don't show autoclickers. Its just clicking. So your saying that if I can stand somewhere for an hour and just keep clicking on my mouse, it would spam the staffs logs? I don't think so. -

I like exp....
I miss her already and want her back, mobs are to ugly to obtain her precociousness from and ores are just the right amount of beautiful. Basically, I think nether quartz ore (and possibly aether ores????) so that if you want exp from mining you have to spend at least 20k on a rank and at least 5k on a max fort tool. -

Aether mining is now illegal for one. Two, I do think that making a few select ores have exp might be a good idea. Like: Diamond/Quartz/Lapis. aka the rarer ones.-

( I know, because I once got over 300k exp from mining quartz all the time)

I believe just nether quartz should have EXP but no other ore. This encourages exploration and population of the very deserted nether world and will also give a balance of exp not too big or not too small.

I don't think it is necessary. Quartz price will go up eventually which will provide the same enticement to go to the Nether. Also, blaze spawners are bringing people to the nether already. -
FluffyAllAround BuilderBuilder ⛰️ Ex-Resident ⚒️
I think sndxch4rg3r has a good point about the nether quartz EXP although I feel that limits the possibilities of new players being able to get into the economy, because to have access then, to get EXP you would have to buy the permissions to nether in order to get EXP from non mob spawners which as a new player can be really difficult to get the 15,000$ for the permissions. Although I believe disabling some of the EXP from some of the ores was a great idea like red stone, lapis, nether quartz and sometimes coal you can get a lot of quickly and I believe that would be more than reasonable to remove EXP from although removing EXP from diamonds and emeralds isn't that necessary because of the rarity of the ores. So I believe the EXP from the common ores should be removed but not the uncommon ores.

The one for fast clicking is a much-less used plugin. So you may be right in somewhat of what you are saying. However, how do you think that there is constant banning on Fast-breakers? People just don't see it every time a week or so. Plus, I didn't want to give a lot of details out so I'm not going to argue against your first point but I do have something that can prove I am right.
Kuke saw this thread and didn't reply to my post bashing me for everything that is wrong in humanity (Love you kuke), therefore it is proven to be correct. Thank you.
