Going to bump this. It's an awesome idea, and would save many many people from the "U NEVER PAYED MAH! MODZ!!! MODZZ!" It would just help a ton.

Instead with a nice bright pm color people would notice right away.

 

Agreed, when I used to play ECC, I sometimes did not see the payment.

Considering not everyone can leave most chats (many people cannot donate), it would be nice for the payment color to change. However, other than PM pink-purple, Local yellow, and Mod blue, other colors would probably go highly unnoticed (not mentioning dark blue, as it's really hard to see/read).

 

Good idea but maybe use a light pink rather than pm hot pink as it's just as noticeable and I won't get my hopes up when I give people money.

 

what about dark red, like andrews tag. I would notice that, I would think andrew just dropped me a pm lol

 

I'm up for a change to dark red. The light green often goes unnoticed.

We are running out of colours. I think its fine.

Har har, so funny I forgot to laugh. I was simply confused why moofink was bringing up other colors when I thought the color was gonna be PM color. I didn't think that other chat colors made any difference. Then, after, thank you void, i realized that she was talking about changing the color of the payment to something else besides pink. I thought she was talking about other chat colors and how this one would fit in in relation.

And I did not "tell", I asked, if you notice my post, I used two question marks, not periods.

So I read 'We are making this PM color' as a statement, not a question. A question would be: Are we making this the same color as PMs?

I felt you were TELLING MoofinK that we were making the color of payments the same color as PM so why was she bringing up other colors?

In this case, no, it's a simple operation of going into a file somewhere, and changing the name of the color to a new one.

 

I agree with changing the color to something more noticeable something bright but not to dark maybe a light/dark purple? or some form of that? idk but the payment pm color is barely visible as it is especially when chat is going crazy.

 

Well that's true, but at this point almost anything would be an improvement.

 

You all are missing a crucial aspect of text.
Bold it or Underline it.
Nicknames can do it, payments should have every text attribute available
bold, underlines, dark red you name it throw it on there.
