Honestly, I think this should be done with everything.

 

I agree, this is very simple. They're called sub-sections!
This would make things a little easier, and promote proper format.
No more "fees" for "incorrect formats"

If you can't read the rules and copy and paste something before posting a thread then you have some serious other issues that should be attended too...

It should take effort to make a contract. People are already lucky that the server/Staff team allows contracts in the first place. They can just as easily be taken out and they were added.

Not too hard to read the rules, the application, and copy-paste. Contracts are not supposed to be "easy" - they are meant to be "serious business." (Same goes for Ban Appeals, which is why they do not have an automatic post format ... They are meant to take effort and be serious.)

I completely agree with this suggestion. It would make the process a lot easier and more efficient. It would also keep the staff from wasting their time on incorrectly formatted contracts/applications.

It's not a lack of effort thing, it's the fact that most users don't know how to format these applications and contracts correctly. For beginning users (who use them most often), it would streamline the process and make it more efficient.

 

Some contracts are not so simple as, I will give you this one thing, if you give me this one thing. Some agreements have payment periods, consequences, and final rules attached.

I do agree that the contract system can be confusing especially for new and younger players. But that is really more of a statement to the complexity of the arrangement, than the complexity of the system.

I think this should be added for the option, but if it gets more complicated they can use the format.

 

I also agree with AgentHare. There should be the option to submit a formatted contract (like we presently have), but I also believe that there should be an option to use a contract that is more simple, such as the complaint one. This gives users a choice of which to use, depending on the intended use.
