ECC currently has a couple of social media outlets (notably facebook and twitter), however they are both, well, rather underutilized. The twitter is used only for sales or hitches on the technical end, and facebook is just used... rarely. Both of these could be used as vital ways to interact with the community on a frequent basis regarding community, events, and more. I don't see any reason as to why they shouldn't be. So my suggestion: Use them more. More community. More economy. Not just sales and tech issues.
+1 we should also advertise these more on the website/forums with links and stuff to get people to look at them
+1 Great idea. it would bring in more players. And it could be used for scheduling server events, just have to get the players to like/follow
I believe these accounts were more active in the past and were basically eliminated due to massive trolling and hate. We would have to commit as a community to counter attack any negative campaign - I commit to help if this happens as I think it would be awesome to see them active again.
