Yea, it was a GoogleDoc if I remember right, really simple to create. +1

I'll look into doing this when my schedule opens up in a week or so.

 

I'd prefer if they're anonymous honestly.

At times, I feel people aren't entirely comfortable expressing their opinions when it comes the way staff run things, including myself. Leaving it anonymous would let players spill everything they have. All I see is "I can't stand the way staff act," etc, but no explanation. I think this would be a good place for people to explain openly.

 

I believe that the google doc surveys we have had before were anonymous.

 

They weren't I remember that's one thing I didn't like about them

 

I remember doing an anonymous survey for ECC... maybe it was a player-held one...

 

Well, if this is anonymous and conducted like a poll, wouldnt it be easier for some players to create alt accounts?

 

With Google forms you can't prove anything, so I could say my username is johnsmith123.
We could do something like post a screenshot of you ingame saying something or idk

 

Previously I've used Google docs to host surveys but recent events show that something easily abused like that is a terrible idea.

I understand that anonymity would foster more reliable results however anonymity clearly risks abuse.

I may just post a thread and request the answers and everything sent to me via forum pm - hard to abuse and I can even possibly not add usernames to the data I share - but that would require of course players taking the survey trusting me on my word.

I would like to see ideas regarding what kind of content/questions Either posted here or sent via pm (please give it a clear title and understand if you don't get a response quickly - I am away for the week and will look into this on the weekend)

 

So stuff happened, but this will be happening in the next 7 days. Keep an eye out!
