Minecraft Name: donkey5k Suggestion: I would suggest having @Unknownrider have some sort of spectating/invisibility power in the SG. It wouldn't have to be done every game and for every user, Let's say User A has had a few complaints against them. They were inconclusive as you were either killed by someone behind you, or an invis person in perfect fit. It says you were killed by User A. Maybe Unknown would decide to go watch User A in a few games. He decides that off what he saw User A is hacking, he bans User A. Basically if there is a suspicious user, a user stirring up the server, or was in some inconclusive video evidence. Reason: I'm sick of hackers and they think they can get away with it and get big prizes for doing nothing. Any Other Information: Only if Unknown is willing and has the time. Link To This Plugin: Idk?
I know but worth a shot. I won't be able to participate but I want to make it as enjoyable as I can for the other users who are able to! Instead of giving my effort in SG, I am giving my effort to making it pleasant for others!
I'm all for it - the server's effort at catching hackers isn't enough, and a lot of people know that.
From what I understand, Unknown works off of video footage so possibly allowing staff to spectate invisibly and recording matches randomly? Also the actual players could record video themselves, if they suspect someone may hack due to the SG World Cup. I'm not sure but aren't the SG World Cup games based off of a players' new SG Stats, where every game contribuites to their ranking between 1 and 10? It would probably be too much to ask for every single game to be moderated then. (I've never seen an ECC SG World Cup so please correct me if this is wrong).
Personally this should be added for every SG for as long as the servers up so Unknown can check in on anyone suspicious.
What I'm suggesting is that Unknown would spectate SG games as he is the hacking expert and even if it is to hard to add it this late but it could be used in the future for anyone suspicious.
He wouldn't monitor every game, but a randomly selected one. Monitoring every 1/8 games for a day will catch more than the 1/2 complaints per week.
Dccciz, but even then, he could only spectate one player/fight at one time. That would mean selectively targeting a single player who may/may not be cheating. I think it just makes more sense to continue the method of providing video evidence as per usual. That way it allows some monitoring in every single game instead of just a few. Ideally you'd have every single player recording but realistically most people won't or if they're hacking they obviously wouldn't record themselves hacking and post it on the forums. Donkey5k, I understand the suggestion but suggesting he singles out players you believe are hacking wouldn't be an effective use of time. While he's spectating this one player, another could be hacking on the other side of the map without his knowing. The chance of him witnessing hacking would be low, while the time spent very high. Like I said above to Dccciz, I still believe each player recording while they're playing and reporting with that evidence is the most effective way to deal with the issue of hacking.
I know that he would only be able to view one battle at a time, but it's better than nothing. Not everyone can record with their computers, which limits the amount of hacker-catchers tremendously. You weren't at the last bowl, but every SG was 24 players, for the whole time. If the one video that you post isn't enough, there's a very small chance you'll meet that user again.
I strongly believe that if someone cheats, hacks or bends the system in any way that overtime it will be exposed. Even if your evidence isn't strong enough to show hacking or you assume you won't be able to get more evidence, it doesn't mean you shouldn't make the active effort to record and post. We need to be more active about video recording games and reporting it if we feel hacking is involved. Your point about people being unable to post due to their computer can be true if the player doesn't have the software/hardware to do it. Despite that, we can't expect Unknown to monitor single players in random SG games. It's very hard to monitor games (especially if they become 24 player/full rooms like the last bowl). It still is very ineffective way to expose hacking.
I will be playing in the sg world cup and recording every game i can get in. Everything I do will be on there. So you have my help in catching hackers.

Same goes for you Knears as I said for Idk. It wouldn't have to be done every game and for every user, Let's say User A has had a few complaints against them. They were inconclusive as you were either killed by someone behind you, or an invis person in perfect fit. It says you were killed by User A. Basically if there is a suspicious user, a user stirring up the server, or was in some inconclusive video evidence.
This would work if he were to only go investigating when someone already has suspicious, but inconclusive evidence for hacking. So, let's say UserA has a complaint against him for hacking, the video is of poor quality, but there are some signs that could indicate hacking. So unknown tells people to gather more evidence. He then, when he sees the user playing, does his own investigating. (while recording, for the sake of archiving)
I like this idea! 1, hackers would be banned and 2, we can just have fun and enjoy the game! I don't know if it a possible for him to do this but if it is, I would love for it to be done! +1
