I personally like the removed blocks better, however if they are there so people can walk on them, I'd suggest replacing those two rows with glass.
Just asking; With the newly requested design: Will it impact people without fly from reaching/seeing anything?
It doesn't mess around with the reaching. You can still reach #8, and unless you have bad eyesight, you should be able to see it.
There is a bottom floor for arenas 1-4. If there are any blocks removed, just 1 would be best. I think it's fine how it is, but that's just me.
