I'm posting from my iPod, so i couldn't copy/paste the format, but anyways... I like the new enchantment system. We'll definitely need to wait and see the effects it has, but I think it will turn out nicely. My only problem is the need to go to spawn to enchant 1-2 items, then go back to where you were. This may be difficult for users without /shop or multihome, etc. Mayors+ also like the use of public utilities, such as cooking pots, anvils, heal signs. Why not do the same for [Enchant] signs? It would cost the owner of the town around the same as a heal sign, and could save time so you can do other things. Please comment any questions/ideas below!
I don't like the new system there's no fun anymore there's no random chance to getting a item and removes some randomness Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I believe andrew responded to a similar suggestion already: http://ecocitycraft.com/forum/threads/suggestion.86866/
Ya he denied them. No reason no anything By doing this he forces people to go to spawn that some avoid at all costs basically It also makes books shelves/ ebooks / enchant tables worthless Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
You realize all enchanting and exp would lose its worth in 1.8, right? 1.8 would literally destroy the exp and enchanting market. Everything becoming dirt cheap. I'd say the current situation is much better than the broken 1.8 system.
I guess I'm in the minority that I don't mind going to spawn to enchant items, but I still think having enchant signs be an application is a great idea. If people don't want to go to spawn they shouldn't be forced to. Although people that don't mind spawn can hire out their services to enchant items with the only signs in spawn.
