Minecraft Name: ScarabCoder Suggestion: Add a new (cheap) feature that allows users to see spawn local chat like Moderator's can. Reason: This is mostly because I want it, but maybe other users might want it too. When looking for new players to give free apartments to, I notice most of them are chatting in the default chat for new players; local chat. With this feature, I wouldn't have to go to spawn to see when players are asking something. Any Other Information: I can easily see this getting downvoted due to the uselessness of it. I mean, it would really spam your chat, right? But there really isn't any other place to put it (I asked Andrew, he told me to post in suggestions). +1 yes please would love to see this implemented. This would allow users to help newcomers without literally loitering at spawn. But I don't think it should be a feat, it should just be a channel you can choose to join or leave at anytime. It shouldn't cost money to help new users more effectively as doing so means more players who stay longer who then will go on to buy plenty more feats. It's just a win win to let people do this for free.
I don't think it should be accessible server-wide. At that point we may as well drop people directly into global if we're going to broadcast spawn local server wide anyway.
A little, but different on one extremely important aspect that makes this suggestion worthwhile. It would allow all the people who felt like helping builders at the time do so globally while leaving global as is for people who are not currently in the mood for setting up nubs. Dumping them all in global would arguably be quite annoying for people trying to have a discussion (or what passes for a discussion in global anyway).
+1 This should be made [Mayor] +, as its only for people with towns, even though some residents own towns My other idea is to make this visible to everyone, but make the chat turned off by default, so if you want to see it, you have to turn it on.
Yes there is, I want to help builders but I can't cus I'm not always at spawn so I don't see there msg's it would be a huge help whenever I get the Builer Getting Started up again
