Suggestion: Replace SG 1 with the Blowtubes chosen spawn

Reason: Sg 1 is probably the most hated map in sg, theres hardly any chests and it is massive, nobody who is higher than builder plays it and only people who are new and havent played sg have touched it. I think Blowtubes Spawn would make for a great replacement of SG1, and it could help users get used to the spawn. i just think its a great setup for a pvp setting. It worked for the old spawn, so why couldnt it work for the new one? :p

Any Other Information: If this gets approved i could work on getting a glass casing placed around the area, and putting chests around as well, I tinker on other games with creating well flowing maps, so I think i could be up to the challenge if its allowed :)

I hope lift signs are usable in SG, that will make this even better :p

Now that i think about this.. we could make it without the need of a glass wall. completely empty out all space around the map, making it into an aether looking area above the map and a nether area underneath, lava pit far enough that you cant jump off and land anywhere and live, even though the height would probably be too substantial to survive it anyways. Im still going to make the glass wall right now just in case :)

 

the only people that play sg1 are new people, then they move on to the other maps, i think it would be much more accepted as the sg 1 than the current map. and my memory fails me so hard lol, and people would get used to it even if i do know where most of them are. i can play sg 2,3, and 4 and find most of the chests pretty easily since ive played time so much, the same concept would go for this with other people if this is made.

 

no i dont mean sg 2. sg 2 works very well as an sg map there is no reason to get rid of it. majority of users stay away from sg 1, thats why i recommended replace sg 1

 

Hmm fair compromise. I also think SG 5 is a bad map, but I think the reason SG 1 gets so much people is because its the first on the list, its very accessible. SG 8 on the other hand is kind of a pain to manually join, the signs is pretty high and nobody cares to go up the stairs and look at the signs at the very top. That being said, I do believe if this was added it would need to be top 4, i believe 2,3, and 4 are the most played. so bump sg 1 up to the sg 5 spot and make this sg 1 since it is directly related to the server.

 

wow very nice dccciz!. I can guarantee you 90% of the people that played games in Arena 1 were new users/builders. only if it was easy to get the total number of players per game each of those had.
