Suggestion:Add a fishing rod to the starter kit.
Reason: It would be a nice addition to /kit starter, as it gives builders a way to get themselves some food without having to buy it or set up a farm until they find a stable place to live in. Since it has no enchants, it should break fairly easily. It would also allow people who wish to enchant a fishing rod to just type /kit starter and get one.
Any Other Information: To give credit where it's due, a builder suggested this in the mining world's spawn, and I thought I should create a suggestion.

+1 That actually would be quite helpful for new players that want to fish, more so than what I remember having to do to get them fishing rods.

+1 It'd give the idea of fishing to builders who really only get mining tools in their kit starter... Great idea

Seems like a good idea. An alternative to this suggestion would be to add string. Since the starter kit already comes with sticks, they could make fishing rods, bows, etc. if string was added.

We added 2 string to make it possible to craft a fishing rod. Because fishing rods cannot be sold to the server, adding them could cause a lot of pole litter. So, if given the choice to craft them there will be less rods all over the place. Also, we didn't want to make those possible to sell in case of accidental star rod /sell hand.
