I don't think anyone has ever been fined... I think it should either be removed altogether or staff members should start enforcing it if andrew is going to change it.

There has been. I remember when some guy applied for mayor about 4 times, and andrew fined him about 60k. It was about a year ago.

 

I remember some res 1 ticketed like 460k I lotto. He failed so hard at applying that he was fined 256k xD

We fine people very rarely. I have personally fined about 5 people.

 

Let's keep it on topic though, I simply meant they should be enforced MORE. I could easily find 10 apps that should have been fined for every one that actually was, but it wouldn't accomplish anything.

I'm aware fines do occur on occasion. I just think it would be a waste of andrew's time if it only gets used as often as it currently does.

 

Personally, I don't think the fine system needs to change. Everything above President is basically a president with a shinier tag. The way the system is currently is fine. As for the GameAdmin's fining people more often. Fining is left for big mess ups, not tiny ones (At the GameAdmin's discretion). I like the way it is and don't personally think we should be discouraging players by fining them over any tiny mistake made.

Mayors+ are not nearly as likely to be fined on an application because they should know what they're doing, especially EcoMasters and EcoLegends. I say keep it as it is until one actually does get fined.

 

Although I have only seen it once and that was with this guy spamming mayor apps without really being a legit mayor app and then getting fined a total of like 250k, although I can assume it is rare it does happen.

Well since you don't really get anything with ecomaster or ecolegend, I don't really see the point to this. My interpenetration of why the fines are set up the way they are is because people who have been here longer should be more responsible with their posts. Also to the point of ecolegends and ecomasters, chances are they will never have to post another app with their time here, unless they either do a major crime and get their being on ECC rolled back (which this wouldn't change because their rank was reset) or they decide they want to have access to the nether or the aether if they don't have it. What I am trying to say here is adding this would do absolutely nothing.

 

What about town claims? presidents don't get that, so it's not just about the tag.

 

Town claims are one of the few things that Tycoons+ have that Presidents don't. I still don't think we need to be changing the fining system, especially considering it is rarely used.
