I really like the new automated auction system. My suggestion is that when the message the auction for such and such item has a certain time left is played in chat, it contains the highest bid. Or a /bid command with no arguments that bids the next highest bid. So if the bid price was 1k and the increment is 50, /bid would bid 1050. I say this because I have lost auctions where I login and see the auction, but have no idea how much to bid, and can't scroll up to find the price in time.
I agree to the first part of your suggestion, was actually gonna suggest it myself too. I think it's especially necessary because of the rather short duration of the auctions, so having to scroll back to check the current highest bid can represent at times not being able to place a bid. It helps if you're a slow typer, or simply because of the anxiety bidding on an auction can cause, especially if it's on an item that you're very interested in. "The auction for # Items has 10 Seconds remaining, Current Highest Bid at $X/No Current Bids" The part about the auto /bid command actually used to be a thing, but was removed due to some problems caused by people placing enormous bids right before them, so in a way they felt 'trolled' because they were now forced to pay the big amount that the command made them bid.
