Minecraft Name: matrix_rep Suggestion: give reidents the ability to add and remove owners of a town Reason: if a resident wants to sell a town and he is the only owner he cant add anyone to the list or demote anyone. Well, the issue with your suggestion is that the rank name is resident for a reason. You are a resident, not a mayor. By definition, residents of a town do not have mayoral powers, thus they cannot add/remove owners.
But I want to stay resident forever so does this mean I can never own a town I find that very depressing
Just find an active mayor who can slave away adding and removing owners, and you can be resident forever
The problem is my resident friend is the only owner of his town so there is no way he can transfer leadership
Simple fix: Rank up to mayor. Either rank up or simply don't be able to...if people want to stay at a certain rank that doesn't have certain possibilities, it's their fault IMO.
Well, first you said that you want to stay resident forever - which I say more power to you! Now you say it is a resident friend - so this is easy, rank your friend to mayor so he can transfer leadership. Ranks are designed to promote goal setting and growth on the server and should not be changed because of personal choices of individuals.

No, Mayors own towns. That would defeat the purpose of the rank mayor. And if this did happen, what perks would mayors get?

I didn't say that at all. I said if Residents could add/remove owners, what ADDITIONAL features would Mayors have?
I 100% with that if residents get more power. I don't know why some people don't upgrade to mayor rank. Its not that expensive, you get a town, and your perks don't differ so much from the mayor+ ranks except the name color and lwc limit. In the end as a mayor you will have all the perks you will need and if you want a new town you can buy one and it will be alot cheaper than ranking up after you are a mayor.

-1, We (Mayors+) Can run the risk of being removed by our co-mayors (Reisdents) If we go inactive; Which I don't find useful.
