People who abuse donation features sometimes get the feature removed.
Thank you for your opinion though.

Hacking in SG is not a direct abuse of the kits that someone has purchased. Seeing as it's not a direct abuse, I see no reason to revoke the feature on this basis.

Okay, let's see. If you're caught hacking, for a second time at that, I would naturally assume you'd be banned, am I not correct?
IF (strong if at that) they are allowed back on, have the kits locked for a period of time, say 4 months, so they still can't use them, but they eventually get them back. -
As of right now this is only policy for direct abuse of the feature in question. We don't do this under any other circumstances, nor should we.
I'm absolutely against any policies that have any prejudice to donors. I am also against removing features which have not been directly abused. This can only hurt feature sales, it will probably do very little to deter hackers. As I've stated previously on this thread, it may even encourage it. -
I agree that hackers need stricter punishments. However, I don't think that taking away the kits that they've donated for is a good choice. I don't like the idea that the more kits that you have, the bigger your punishment is. Let's say two people both get banned for their second time for hacking. One is a major donator with $250+ worth of kits. The other donated for a $15 kit. The person who has supported the server more also gets punished more. I think that there is a better way to punish them, possibly a temp-ban (one that is actually effective, not one of those 3 temp bans that does absolutely nothing) or a fee.
Or just permaban. They've already proven that punishments aren't effective and that they don't care about ECC by them hacking multiple times. -
Some have hacked more than twice, and all I've seen is a '2 week tempban'
That is not a fair thing, they have also kept their kits.
Thanks on your opinion on this topic though. -

I know that sometimes when im playing sg and get instakilled with decent armor, im like WHAT. However, the indecision as to whether they have buffer or not stops me from reporting. Im not a fan of making a hacking complaint on every person that instakills me. Its not fair for me (because if it is seen that they have buffer ive wasted my time making the report. It is also not fair to them to get a lot of complaints on them for hacking(if someone searches their complaints and sees a ton of hacking complaints, that DOES influence the public's perception of them, even if they are cleared of it). And its not fair to the staff to make multiple complaints that all require staff time and attention to solve. Not good for all parties involved. Id like to see what you guys think of having a list of the kits that each person owns. So it is simple to decide to report or not report, with the deciding factor being if they have Buffer or not. This should help reduce unnecessary complaints while increasing effective complaints against sg hackers.

@deondre33, this is bad to say, but if you SG hack again, whatever we end up deciding here WILL apply.. No matter how apologetic you are. Just a tip? Don't hack again.

Revanrose6 Sith LordECC Sponsor Tycoon ⛰️⛰️⛰️ Ex-EcoLegend ⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️ Prestige ⭐ I ⭐ Gameplay Architect Premium UpgradeI would like to point out that it is up to Andrewkm's decision, not what is decided in this thread. If Andrew decides to increase punishment then that will be his decision. Now @deondre33 and @Monkeyz505 lets keep specific people out of this thread. This is a suggestion for discussing future handling of hackers and not a suggestion on how to handle specific people.
