I'm sure they would've thought of that already, there's probably a reason why it's not already there

@Vintage_Gamer client side if I'm not mistaken. This should be a general discussion thread not a server suggestion.

Yea. But there is already Anti-Hacks (No Cheat Plus) to prevent hackers. But never the less you always get the odd 1 or 2 who bypass such plugins.

This is a suggestion on how to manage anti-pvp hacking and should therefore be in the suggestions sub forum as it is.

No, because this is not a suggestion for the staff to implement it's up to the individual. If this was a suggestion to make a reminder and a link to download it then yes. However as of now it's upto the player to enforce this not the server.

How would it work? I'm not sure if this even exists because there isn't really a way of preventing it automatically. It could track how fast your head snaps and how many times you hit someone then it would ban you if the system thought your movements were too fast and accurate, but someone experienced with pvp may be wrongfully banned because his/her skill was hack-like. Then they would have to admit to doing something they didn't do just to get unbanned. Then they confuse the system again and they're banned again. I don't think this would work too well. Oh, and catching hackers is fun so if something like this is implanted, some of the entertainment of sg is lost.

Why do I even bother trying to explain things if no one bothers to just simply use common effing sense?

He's suggesting that developers add an anti-killaura/forcefield plugin to the server that will make it impossible for players with those installed to connect.

Wouldn't this be impossible because when ff it's just hitting for you? I think that's how it works not really sure

    >.> he never stated that it was a server wide change lol maybe you should stop making your own assumptions about a suggestion look at the facts given in the original ssuggestion not make up your own :p silly.

As you probably read on the previous comments we were discussing a client side version ^~^ not a complete server wide change. I would suggest reading the entire conversation to prevent your limited understanding about the topic your argue about.

As for your suggestion that belongs in suggestions and i would +1 it because it's a server wide change. That was not stated in the this original post.

So don't do everything you just did? The only difference between my statement and yours is that the suggestion is NOT about a client-side addition, it's server-side which is why it's a suggestion and not a discussion. Why the hell would there even be a client-side anti-hacking mod? There already is one, it's called, "not installing the hacked client". Your dumb and misled assumption put this whole thread off-track. Please use common sense for once, God forbid you actually THINK before posting something.

*sigh* honestly this is not worth my time it's like I'm in an argument with a 13 year old you just throw insults and repeat yourself.

I don't even see why we are arguing over something so small. We were both talking about different things it's sad how worked up and rude your being to a total stranger it makes me feel sorry for you not argumentative.

You were talking about the macro, and I the micro it was not specified in the original suggestion which it was btw I'm sorry @BKGenius77 for all the wasted space on your thread I don't know why this person is getting so stressed and being so mean I apologize for me commenting so much on your thread.

As for @steveshizzle we should stop fighting we were on two different sides the argument client and server sides. Now that we know where we both were coming from please stop being so rude it's frankly annoying I don't even know you :( we are both guilty of being jerks. We haven't even agreed or disagreed with the suggestion you just said "this is probably already in effect" and I said "this belongs in general comments because it's clients side" that was rude for both of us to comment so inconsideratly on this suggestion. I offer the hand of apology I don't want to argue ^~^ we both know where we went wrong

As for the original suggestion BK if you meant server wide protection i think that's a good idea, if it's not already in place like Steven said
    +1

If it's a client side mod i suggest making an informative thread in general discussion instead to warn new and old players about hacking and how to prevent it

    1. If it's a client-side mod:
Best way: Not installing a hacked client. No need for anything else. And hackers would simply ignore it.
    2. If it's a server plugin:
Well, the main problem with hacked clients is that they are only detectable via the information the client sends to the server. As said above, a skilled PvP player could possibly irritate the system.

It would be cool to see this, but I think we already have nocheatplus. Don't know how this would be coded, as I think it would have been coded if possible.
