How would this be different from just either askng for help in global or using the /help commands? I think what we have works fine, there's no need to change anything.

 

I agree this would look more professional.

But if this is accepted or denied I like our current system of help but this would be helpful.

I wouldnt mind seeing this. I also think if it does become something, new people that join the server should first be placed automatically in the help channel. This way, they need to understand how to change chats and learn how to quickly.

However, I can see why some people wouldnt want this. Helping people in global or local at spawns helps others that are too shy to ask and reminds others of the rules.

 

I think it would be a great implement to the server! When a builder or someone needs help maybe they could do /ch h and it starts a conversation with a random mod or admin :D Then from there, they can talk out the issue :O

I think this is a great idea! I am constantly helping people (modesty) and I feel as though I sometimes spam global with my explanations. If people could leave this channel where I'm explaining, that'd be great! +1

This sounds like a good idea. I didn't understand it at first but now I totally get what you guys mean! Builders are always asking for help like "How do I get money?" and "What do I do?" and I think that this would be great for them to learn how to play on the server in a help channel rather then having it spam up local or any other chat.

+1, please make this a real thing. Also, please make it the channel that you are already in as soon as you log on the server (for the first time) :)

 

Maybe, maybe not. There is a reason the starter channel switched from global to local, and that was to contain the spammers/advertisers. We don't want our new players leaving.

 

That can be debated. However, the idea of the channel itself is great.

 

I think that @Gernen already had plans on making his own chat channel. I may be thinking of someone else though.

I wouldn't mind seeing this added. Although I think the negative that could occur would be countless spam from builders.
