It should be able to be left if you do not want to be spammed, though at least 1 staff member should be in there at all times. Reason: I believe it would be easier to have a channel for questions instead of just asking in global, since some users may find the amount of questions annoying. -1 Users can be helped in Global chat or via Private Message, and I think that extra channels were removed because they cause lag, all the messages get logged so, totally -1.
IMO all new players should start off in a help channel to ask questions. Then they can leave it whenever they'd like.
+1 This would help a lot for new users, and would help the mods and other people to help the new users
Why not have this be the global channel? Any advertisers would be dealt with asap, and all builders could be helped. And all the bypassers will do /ch g anyway
Chat channels don't cause lag... Anyway, I'm against making chat even more messy. It's already messy enough, and there's no need to make it even more messy. You can literally just use /ch g.
The problem is not making it messy, how would this extra channel would make it messier if you leave it...
What's the point of a channel that everyone leaves? That's like auction channel. People don't use auction channel.
We don't need either, really. These just unnecessarily add messiness to chat and another channel for moderators to moderate.
