I'd just like to point out, why can't we wipe the scammers bal and just spawn server money into the scammed players account?

 

Lotto tickets, hidden signs, items etc. And the question "What if the scammer has no money?" is a legit one but the answer is simple. The scammer will have to work for the money and give it to the victim/server. That means that the scammer will spend time making money to repay the victim or pay to the server. For example player A scams player B for 100k. Player A will need 5 days to repay the amount but the money he makes during that time will not be pumped directly into the economy via player market, lotto and other player to player trades and this will keep the economy balanced.

 

So because we can't help everyone we shouldn't help anyone?

I had a typo in there, but clou got my point that me and agent are trying to say. We need to pay back at least 51% of the total victims in order to implement this. It would be effective, unlike the current way it's portrayed, 1 out of ever 10. That's ineffective. If we can increase the amount of people we help, it would create a better system. That's what I'm trying to say. Do you get my logic now?

 

I don't see why it should be at lest 51%. Obviously its better than 10% but 1 in 10 refunds are still better than the current 0 in 10 than we have. Don't get me wrong, I'd like to see 50%, 60%, 70% refund ratios of legit scammed players but I don't understand why is it bad to have it under 50% when we have no refund system at all currently.

 

no that's like saying no one should be repaid because the people who aren't will get more angry and possibly be more likely to quit. Isn't the whole point so people don't quit? Idk what's with this thread and constant terrible analogies

I don't see alot of people qiutting just because they didn't got chosen for a refund that is randomized. Those that quit because of this would have leave ecc for a dumber reason a couple of weeks later. There are currently alot of people that got scammed and didn't got their money back and they are still playing because they like the server despite its flaws.
