Phys' mob update has single-handedly killed several of my businesses. Making horses invincible again would be incredibly helpful for me

1. Enable breeding - Yes, it causes lag. And I assume that this is the main reason why it was disabled at all aside from the fact that you could build huge farms with other animals (I assume that breeding can only be turned on/off for all or no animals, not sure abut that).
2. Lower the egg prices - they are user-market controlled, so the server has no option to decrease their worth except of decreasing their rarity. That would remove the point of the special lucky vote rewards if they can be earned far more often or through other means.
3. Make horses invincible - for that purpose we have the interact:deny flag which was made to make them invincible.

 

It makes animals invincible to people not added to the town and environmental damage like lava or fall.

 

The flag costs 10k, but to apply for it you have to be the original owner of the town.

 

Horses should be invincible. I simply dont want to get a flag because i want my horses invincible but i want people to have access to USE anyways.

But breeding... It will crash the market. Breeding is and endless, almost free supply of 10k's which won't be 10k's very soon.

Maybe put a time limit on breeding? Like you can only breed once every X days or whatnot. Lag isn't an issue. It seems everybody is praising this new fangled 'hub server' idea and it will somehow decrease lag. Sure. But hey, why not try?

 

I'm almost fairly certain that it's somewhere in the rules about making sure your animals are protected.... Horses don't need to be invincible if you keep them in a totally fences in (about four high with a roof) area and lock your gates.

Although I wish we could breed animals, and don't see the lag issues if the rules in place are followed. I really do miss being able to keep animals and use them for profit.
