I found this new plugin that can make our auctions much more organized, and basically like Ebay. There are now scams this way, and payers do not have to hear other players bids. -1. What if you want to ignore someone's bid? It is legal as long as they didn't "hear" the bid before. Can you auction enchanted items? What if someone wants to auction off perms to a town? Doesn't work.
There is no reason to want to ignore a big with this system. You pick a set time for the auction, and it keeps racking up bids until the time expires. Yes you can auction enchanted items. For people who want to sell town perms, there is still the trade channel, and they are a rarity in auction as well.
Its not illegal to not hear a bid if you don't hear it the entire auction. People want to auction perms. Just because maybe there are one or two per hour doesn't mean you should get rid of it. You still can't auction off EXP
Lee has a point. There is always a reason to ignore bids, which is why we made it legal. Maybe someone has a specific person they don't want to sell their town to. Maybe they don't trust a person. There is no good reason to make it impossible to ignore bids. I think our current system, albeit a little frustrating at times, is perfect. It allows the auction of a greater range of things than this plugin could do. One of the biggest parts of our economy is the Town system and a lot of people like to auction off towns, it seems silly to me to decide that they cannot anymore. Basically, all this plugin seems to do is hurt some of the 'freedoms' we allow in our auctions, i.e.: Auction off odd things/multiple things as well as the right to ignore a specific persons bid.
