Minecraft Name: a18greek18 Suggestion: Changing the size of mining/nether worlds from 5000x5000 to 7000x7000 Reason: I think this should be done as the mining world has been reset very recently and Y:11-13 is nearly destroyed already. The 5000x5000 mining world was perfect before Efficiency VIIs came along, but now the mining world gets torn to shreds within the first week. Any Other Information: This suggestion was made because of conversation in this thread http://www.ecocitycraft.com/forum/t...-of-time-between-mining-nether-resets.127421/ Link To This Plugin: N/A
I mined all day (4-6 hoursish) today at y-11 and didnt come across anyones tunnels. There is tons of material left, so it doesnt need to be made bigger. Also this will make mining overpowered compared to other methods. -1
Must be tough being an eff 7 miner making 15-25k an hour and having to ignore the occasional mined out section of a world that is never really empty.
Tough life of an Efficiency 7 miner. D: Sorry but it already gets reset once a month, and I can guarantee you that parts of the mining world are still untouched at the end of the month. -1
+7878954784548748 yes and Block/Mission with a bigger mining world there would be more possiblity of finding not mined areas, sometimes you may be lucky and not find anything but sometimes you find more tunnels that stone, and for the overpowered problem i eff7 in Rising where there are close to 0 eff7 tunnels but it doesn't give me that much of an advantage, in fact that's not why i mine in Rising
-1 I have an eff7 pick, love to mine with it. HOWEVER, the number of times I've found good stuff one block over from where someone had mined is incredible. It's not "I need somewhere no one has been". Most efficient mining (non-eff7) is 1x2 every 3rd spot. When someone mines a 3x3 every 10, there's a LOT of stuff in the gaps between. Heck, most of the time I follow someone else's tunnel and grab the coal... and everything else on the other side of the coal patch. Yes, I have found untouched mineshafts the day before a monthly reset. Ya'll know what rails go for? If you are finding nothing but tunnels, try "/wild land", dig straight down (remember to cover the hole) and try a different spot. I'm pretty sure it would take TWO months to get to be difficult (but not impossible) to find good stuff. Heck, try "/wild water" if you have Water+
I have already suggested this a few weeks ago here... http://ecocitycraft.com/forum/threads/suggestion.125798/
Even with eff 7 I don't make 15-25k an hour :b As for the suggestion -1, plenty of ores are still there even the day before reset. Even tunnels shouldn't stop someone, many times I've seen people do tunnels and I dig 1-2 blocks wider and see more ores.
