Minecraft Name: Assajj_Ventress
Suggestion: Make a command labeled /Instabuy [Item] [Pricerange]
eg /Instabuy Diamond 25-35
also add /addlisting [item] [pricerange] To sell the item only to instabuyers
Reason: I believe some people do not always have time to go to the market or wait to buy something, if there was a command were you could just instantly buy an item or make it available it would save time.
Any Other Information: I love /shop but sometimes I just want to buy something and keep mining. eg : a pick

It would be cool but i just don't like the idea of having items spawned out of thin air.

Unless I've misunderstood I don't the suggestion would spawn items out of thin air. When a player lists the items I guess it would act like a trade sign, albeit an invisible one which acted through commands.
I personally don't like this idea as it would devalue the spawn shops. I personally see getting a top/mid floor shop as one of the biggest achievements of ECC. -

This seems like more of a Auction House/Marketplace type thing that is commonly seen in most MMORPGs. While in theory, this seems like a good idea, it would require quite a bit of work to set it up. Also, with this, there would be zero reason to have trade signs/spawn shops, etc. Everyone would just list their items on this new thing, and the market would be flooded with an insane amount of items.

This would not de-value the spawn shops if you limit the items that you are aloud to list, or the times you can use this command in 1 day

Even if you limited it to 5 items per user. The prices of those 5 items would go down to nothing. There really isn't much of a scarcity of any resource as it is now. If you implement a system that allows you to view all the listings of that item being sold, competition would force prices to go lower and lower.
Also, the system would have to keep track of each players listings. If 5 per user, and there are 500 users, that is 2500 listings that are constantly changing. It would have to pull items from inventories and to inventories on a regular basis, as well as keeping track of money in/out.
Trade signs already cause lag, but that lag is confined to the area around the signs. Think of the lag that would be caused by basically having 2500 trade signs follow you around at all times. -
I'm -1. Having stand buying on the spot would discourage more use of the /back donation feature and possible slightly decline the amount of donations for it. (/back I mainly used for shops when I was Staff.)

It would be cool if you could interact with a trade sign using a command
/searchprice <item> <price your looking for>
It searches the sign database or whatever and see's if anyone is searching around the price you want. Probably not possible but an idea! -

Basically what I see from this is a portable auction house that you access with commands
I say -1 to this cause the point of shops is to get people to visit
