I'm pretty sure they're invisible. I only vaguely see them and that's rarely.

 

Interesting. Anyway, I'm pretty sure Jamie's planing to work to fix it after 1.9.

 

You can see them every time you punch a mob, not sure about players. (At least I can, and several other people on at off-peak)

 

+1, in the pvp tourney earlier they were rapidly flying/ glitching/ however they move around me. It was very confusing and made it difficult to tell who I was trying to hit.

+1 It's so distracting and can often lead you to believe that there is somebody behind/above you about to attack.

 

I've thought about this and I realised that this could potentially break the anti-aura bot. AFAIK the bot works by appearing above you, and if you have aura you'll attack the bot and not the player, but if they have an invis potion then I think aura won't attack them. I'm not really experienced with hacked clients so I'm not 100% on that.

 

I've noticed it when open 3+ chests in 1 tick, when climbing a ladder, being carried by water, or immediately following a teleport.
Or in otherwords, I literally can't go one minute without seeing some random player above my head.
I didn't see what was wrong the original anti-cheat and never noticed or even heard of any problems with it.

 

Aw geez you know I noticed this last night and I thought that I was losing my mind. I thought they only happened in SG? I was just opening a lot of chests quickly and then flying up and down at speed 10 and suddenly I felt like I was in some kind of horror movie where some dude kept popping menacingly above my head and yet /near said there was nothing around. *horror movie sounds*

Ideally yes please fix that because it will never stop freaking me out no matter how many times I reread that this is totally normal.
