Minecraft Name: usapresident999 Suggestion: Legalizing the Word '[server name removed]'. Reason: Everybody knows what [server name removed] is so why shouldnt it be allowed to say it? It doesnt count as advertising when everybody knows what it is. Atleast it should be allowed to talk about it in /msg and and /ch l. [server name removed] is very well known so why should it be counted as advertising? Any Other Information: Im not trying to advertise but this is just My opinion. If this thread really makes damage then just edit this thread and remove the word [server name removed]. THIS IS NOT A TROLL THREAD. Im serious and I want this idea to be taken seriously and to be handled by the staff. Link To This Plugin: No plugins Usapresident999
Because it would affect the population. Talking about [server name removed] wont affect the ECC community since they already Know about it so if anybody advertises [server name removed] then it wont count as advertising since everybody already know what it is.
Seriously, I had to Google it. *shrugs* After checking it out, it sure looks like a minecraft server (at least to me), so it would fall under the "don't talk about other Servers" part of the rules. I'm sure there are other "words" that might be, for instance, the name of a company that makes mind altering beverages, that everyone knows, but that doesn't mean it falls outside of the "don't talk about ____" subjects. So what would we get out of being able to say the word "[server name removed]", but not be able to describe it's context? Or are you suggesting that we should be able to discuss other Servers? I hope that's not what you are suggesting, because it would like be asking why can't we have Pepsi at a restaurant that only serves Coke...
This will never be allowed. You have a very limited interpretation of what advertising is. Everyone knows what McDonalds is, but they still spent $808 million advertising in 2014. It's all about putting something in someone's mind/thoughts.
