A plugin is already created for this so they just would need to add it to the sever if it worked with all the plugins which I believe it should. Also it does not have to have a huge use, this is just a nice way for players to give a player appreciation on their build!
You know what would be cool? If it tracked how many likes you got and you could get a forum medal for having a certain amount.
it could be done, the sign says how many likes you have! A sign will look something like this: [Like] IGN of user who created it # of Likes
+1 however often when people are around they decide to tell me how much they like my structure. This also could be used in build contests, build approval ect.
You should only be able to "Like" a "Like Sign" once, and only once. Also, this should be a part of the Extended Creations package. +1/2
I have to disagree with adding it to a donation feature, but wholeheartedly agree with the like only once. What about adding it to people who are mayor+ just like the [Trade] Signs that are available to resident+, give it to mayor+ so there's the ability to have people "Like" their first town. What if there was a "Like", "Winner", "Funny", and "Creative" signs? Same format, just different words.
