I think it's good because I never play lotto but I can imagine the frustration of those who would put 100k in and run nobody wins would be tremendous. It's a good idea but I don't think it'll pass

lotto always has a winner, that's the whole point. It moves money around the economy and removes some. Someone should always win imo.

+1 I agree with anything (like this) that may take so much money out of the economy that farming prices may rise :p

If too much money is taken out they may rise

That's a nice idea, But why not do like real life lottery. If no ones win the lotto, 85% of the money in it goes in the next one. So it would remove some money but not all. So if someone put 100k in and no one wins, he will buy more ticket to make sure he doesn't lose his 100k. So people would lotto even more.

I can see this causing a lot of issues. While trying to remove money from the economy, it would cause more problems in the long run due to upset users. I will have to disagree with this suggestion.

I don't think this would be too great, it would cause too many problems in-game.
Might I propose a similar suggestion,
Add 1/x for the lottery to move on and add another 15 minutes for a larger jackpot.
This addition could differentiate the entire idea of "sniping" due to the fact that the lotto may be drawn out further.-

You don't take money out of the economy when no one plays because there's a risk of everyone losing.
This would probably do the opposite of what is intended, if there's a risk of losing it all with no winners, then people will play less and smaller. This would be the end of big lottos and that would be less money out of the economy.-

Greetings,
1/x. So if only one person buys a ticket, then they have a 100% chance of losing all their money. :p
I would support a 1/x+1 chance of the amount carrying over. This would be akin to those mega lottos and as we have to see, a bigger pot usually means more tickets bought to try to win it. This would also equal out the odds so the buyers each have an equal chance to win as the server.
I would not support a 'no-winner' chance. It is already a negative sum game, I think this would deter more people than "incentive-cize" them. :D
