Minecraft name: DaNuclearMuffin Suggestion: Right now we are currently doing a High roller give away for the richest of the rich, why don't we do one for the poorer guys? Reason: Got to say, it would be awesome to actually have a chance in some of these competitions... Any Other Information: You could make it Mayor or Resident and below and do some kind of mini game. ..? The past few giveaways have been fairly open to all players. And the prize of this current one has around a $300USD value. Why shouldn't this high priced prize be given to those willing to risk it all?
Tis why it's a high roller competition. If you are willing to risk a bunch of virtual game money for something as expensive as the prize, then you are deserving of the 3ds
but what about the people who don't have a bunch of virtual game money? that is what muffin is suggesting.
I cannot assume to know Andrew's reasoning behind this, but from what he said, is that the last few giveaways were geared to allow anyone to participate. This time, he's changing it.
The stock competition was also a high roller give away essentially. As you eventually needed to invest 200k into stocks.
Not really possible though, as any rank with the right amount of money can go high roller. Limiting a low roller giveaway to residents and mayors doesn't make a ton of sense as there are some super rich residents and mayors *cough @matrix_rep cough*
Not a very good idea. What would be the point in a giveaway to a low rank, who probably hasn't spent much time on ECC. The past few giveaways have been mostly fair. I think they all should be like this one. Rewarding the rich, loyal players of ECC. Keep in mind that while posting this I have a $7 balance and no possible way to make money for another 24 hours.
I mean, kinda yeah My main point though is you don't need a high rank to be rich, why would you need a low rank to be poor?
-1 The whole point of this is to take a lot of money out of the economy, by having players making massive bets and (Sometimes) losing. Anyway, I really dont see the point in this...
Not too many rich Mayors come to mind for me. Maybe we could do it just among mayors, and unofficially?
I think it might be a good idea to maybe have one for low rollers, but maybe give away a smaller amount of in game money that wouldn't really do much for high rollers.
There are sooo many rich mayors that come to mind.... There are many many many...... And also Andrew isn't just going to give away 300 dollars to sombody that just joined or barely ever plays..... It's like giving it to a stranger on the road.. IMO a really bad idea sorry but -1111
