Minecraft Name: UnitedStates2002 Suggestion: Lower the investigator+ price to like $25. Reason: After discussing this in global with a few player, most of them said they wouldn't buy investigator+ for $50 because it's a purely cosmetic feature. For those of you who don't know what it does it leaves an explosion after you vanish. I think a feature that cosmetic is kinda over priced and needs to be lowered so more people will buy it. Any suggestion to lower the price of an existing feature is sure to cause major heartache for the server. My opinion is that the few players that choose not to support the server with their donations do not make up for those that have and would not appreciate the value of their contribution lessened.
Here's the problem; Extremely little players have the feature, and this feature is already pretty valueless. We need more players buying this feature, which in the end will mean more money for the server. Let's remember that only a few people hold this feature, as this is not a popular feature. In fact, I'd not be surprised if this is the least popular feature. All this does is make a little explosion when go into vanish. There's like 5 players active players who have the feature (I don't know for sure, but it's pretty low) and I'd seriously doubt 5 people complaining will cause "major heartache" for the server.
If the price was lowered, there are few enough people with it that giving coupons wouldn't be a problem...
Lets do the math. Lets say 5-10 people have bought it at 50$. 50 x 10 (10 is being generous its probably more like 5-7) but still 50$ times 10 is 500$. now lets say the price it at 15 or 20$ and 40 more people buy it now 20$ x 25 (800) + 500 (the people who already bought it) = 1,300... More money for the server. Hear that Andrew? you will have 800 more dollars if you price it down.
Let's be honest, people don't donate to support the server any more. Supporting the server and keeping it up just is not a concern players have. People donate for perks they need or want, that's it. Players want this, but not at its current price. If we want to make use of the code that exists, we have to price it at something which both players and Andrew can agree on. $25 seems a lot more reasonable to me for investigator+

I agree that it is worth a bit much. I personally considered buying this feature but with the minimal cosmetic effect that it gives decided that it was not such a good idea. Saying that, I believe that $30 may be a more appropriate price for the feature. But also, what stops people from just buying a $10 trail instead? I mean you see it a lot more often. ^.^ +1
How about instead of lowering the price adding something to it to make it worth the price. This will increase donations for it and keep people who already have it happy.
Not when those 10 people want a refund because its gone down in price I am soso about it, if you want it but arent prepared to pay that much money, then you dont really need it that badly and its something to work towards. I am meh either way, i will be a little annoyed as i have bought this feature, but not that annoyed as i got it for a free coupon. I can see some people being pretty angry, like buffer nerfing angry. +0
