Minecraft Name: priMELval Suggestion: Change the default region interact flag to deny for the 30 day grace period so people can't open chests without town perms. Prim. What happens when someone has one of their chests unlocked and then they want to open their own chest? @priMELval
@priMELval oh sorry! haha I thought you meant change the default setting on all regions to deny (rather than the setting on the default region)
This is a great idea, could save the staff quite a lot of hard work and effort, and protect people's items in the process
Does setting a town flag prevent someone without town perms from modifying signs and placing their own locks? I have lots of locked signs that I won't touch until the plots they are on are sold - way more than 6 months - all now unlocked.
I would +1 this but im not actually sure what you are suggesting. You saying that people are waiting for people to file flag app changes and then getting stuff taken once they have gone through? Or am i completely off xD
They can lock them but I don't think they can open them and you can just file an lwc removal for troll locks. All locks that are untouched in the last 6 months have been removed. Everyone is going from town to town setting homes at chests with star tools/ valuable stuff and getting ready to snipe when we're allowed to take from unlocked chests again. I'm salty because I know I won't get any good loot.
She's saying that all regions should have the flag set to deny by default for 30 days. This would prevent anyone from stealing from chests without being added to the town.
I changed the reason. I didn't think people looting before it was allowed was going to be an actual problem... Apparently I was wrong.
+1 Though I dunno how much work this would be for staff and there is still the chest in the wild they would still need to check, so this might make more work for staff in the long run. Also, providing people who actually paid for the deny flag don't have it taken away when making everything normal again. Other than those points, it's a good suggestion.
