Minecraft Name: SKSoccer Suggestion: To add a 24 hour window, where players cannot steal from recently LWC'd chests. Reason: Recently, there have been a couple of users whom have been watching the LWC removal section, and then using tp++ to raid the chests as soon as they are unlocked. Obviously, this is not illegal, but I believe it should be. This is simply unfair to the players that have these LWC removals done, and is immoral from the standpoint of those that steal from the chests/furnaces. Any Other Information: If it matters, this did not occur to me. I am not personally involved. Link To This Plugin: N/A
Do you mean, a 24 hour lock on the public? Or mods doing something like /cmodify and there name? I like that idea, but a lot more work for the SuperMod's if they have to additionally add your name to the chest.
I like this, but I don't know how SuperMod's feel about this. Plus it would use their locks. There's a lot of problems with them adding the user to the chest but I like the idea! :/
If that is the chosen method of enforcement, all smods+ could receive the unlimited LWC donation feature. However, leaving it unlocked is fine, but making it grief within 24 hours is my idea.
LWC removals are for removing LWC. The items inside are free game and not the property of the town owner. (See the unlocked chest rule on the wiki)
New Idea! Have the person who wants the locks removed set up an equal amount of donation chests. The user would then put the coords of these "receiving" chests, and the mod would move them? Or have it be within 5 blocks of the lock?
The point of an LWC removal is not, has never been, and will never be, to get the items inside the chest. The point is to remove the lock and get it out of the way. They are not your items, they are belonging to the player who locked the chest. When the chest is unlocked, the items are fair game. Whoever requested the removal has no more right to them than anyone else.
Fair enough, that makes sense. I thought about that as a part of the original suggestion, but put it on the back burner. This suggestion can be dismissed/locked.
