People shouldn't be allowed to offer their opinion on the price of something. The buyer and seller should well be aware of the price and it shouldn't matter what other think. I disagree with this suggestion, however, I do feel that stating factual information should only be allowed - not just opinion. New players have no idea what the prices/ worth of all items are worth so sometimes this needs to be said to avoid hard feelings. An example: Server price for nstars is $150 - avg price is closer to $550 (or so) so if someone is advertising buying nstars at an "awesome" price of $300 I feel that they should be called out. If players would stop trolling or scamming other players, this suggestion would not even be necessary.
Well, it is an economy, you're supposed to check other places before buying. There are plenty of businesses irl that offer "awesome" deals but they don't have people standing in front of the business saying how it isn't the nest price you can get. (Those people would be kicked off the business grounds) So why should people be allowed to do that on the forums? Anyways I agree +1
I understand your point of view and agree that it is an economy server, however, I would like to think that we as a community would protect instead of take advantage of each other. As for your example, there have been many times in my life where I have seen "peaceful and lawful" demonstrations with signs and banners protesting and warning others. Also, in this day and age there are review sites available for every service and product imaginable - ours just happens to be the forums and trade chat. So I still disagree with this suggestion as it stands and would prefer that trolls and scammers continue to be called out and punished (I have seen players banned for this)

So there's really mainly 2 types of posts like this - those which make comments on prices and those which directly compete with the OP. I have no issues with comments saying that the prices could be better, as long as it is done respectfully. This can often be a first step in negotiation. However other times what I see quite a lot is other players advertising their competing business/transaction on someone else's thread - and I think this should be against the rules. (Example being that I'm negotiating an agreement to sell an eff7 to PlayerA, and PlayerB comes onto my thread and offers PlayerA a cheaper price)
I 100% agree with Nicit, negotiation is alright, however competition isn't. It would be like going to a store and trying to sell your product at the store.
