Well, yeah. But it's quite effortless too and you can sit fishing for hours while watching netflix and make a considerable amount of money effortlessly.

 

After fishing for 2.5 ish as an average player who spent nothing on MCMMO, with a max rod, I made only 3.5k. That's not considerable :/

 

No matter whether fishing is considered "easy" or not, with fish prices this low, star rods / max rods are not worth buying at all, for the cost : income ratio is a complete joke at this point. The fact that a max Eff 5 pickaxe is capable of making just as much as a star rod at a very high mcmmo lvl is definitely saying something. A tool that is worth 1500 nether stars, it should be making more than a tool that only costs about 9k ECD.

Also, @UnitedStates2002 , theres not much difference in effort from clicking one button repeatedly when a fish is caught, and holding down your mouse / trackpad to break melons or such.

+1 i like fish, it's quite tasty. i caught my first fish when i was five and then i ate it raw. i later got AIDS from it and i ded.

I plan on getting a star rod within the next two years (it's not THAT long..) and I do think that the amount a star rod makes should be increased. The problem is mostly the MCMMO.
